Changes

So, I've decided to do some new stuff with my guy. First, I've respeced to holy. I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to keep it. I want shadow for quests, holy for healing. I could respec every half level. I could respec hybrid. Or dual spec. But I don't have the money. You know, I could farm some mats. You know, I may just do that. Why have I not thought of that before? I can farm Mithril Ore. Or Thorium. I'll look up what's more valuable. But I can grind that, until I get at least 1400g. Then, I can get dual spec and swap back and forth between pure holy and pure shadow. Then I should be able to just blast through quests for half of my level, then swap to holy and instance for the other half. Yes. And it will be a good investment for later in the game, when I want to easily swap between dailies and group healing. Yes yes yes. Good idea.

I wonder how long it will take me to level Akcowl. I started this guy only in December. And my leveling really never slowed down. I just leveled over and over and over. It stopped mattering because I always had stuff to do and not enough "level time" to do it in. So, for the warrior, how long will it take me to level him. Oh man, another great idea. I should start him, quest him all the way to blood hoof village, then park him in the inn. So when I'm done with Aksaril, I'll have a lot of rest. Or I can just play him as long as I have rest. So I won't have much time on him, but it will be important time. I'll have to run out and farm mats for cooking. I think that's the one prof I'll have on him. I also want alchemy and inscription on him. Enchanting is just too expensive. I'll get the buffs and be able to tank well.

Do I have gear issues? Will I be able to get good enough gear to tank? I guess I'll be able to just buy some from the AH. I love the AH. makes getting decent gear easy. Questing is boring, but it helps so much. What does questing give you? Items, money, experience and reputation. You can get around all of that. Items via the auction house and dungeoning. Money via farming, grinding, dungeoning. EXP via grinding, dungeoning and PvPing. Reputation via some quest turn ins. But not all reps. The problem is, questing is so efficient in this matter. You have to take almost drastic and inefficient measures to fill the void that not questing leaves.

Level 60

This morning I hit level 60. From a daily Valentine's day quest. Now this puts me in quite a quandary. Remember the days when level 60 was a big deal. It took many more hours of play time then I have put in. I skipped so many zones on my way to 58. Lol, I hit 58 yesterday and got to 60 this morning. Leveling is so easy. I skipped Ferals, WPL, EPL, Winterspring, Searing Gorge, Blasted Lands, Burning Steppes, Silithus, Azshara. None of those. I don't have close to all the exploration achievements. At all. I feel like I've missed so much. This leads me into my next problem. I've skipped so much content and should I feel bad about it? I was in Mara, BRD, DM and LBRS way more than I was on Akoris. Akoris saw almost every zone before Outland. But I don't want to do all those quests. I may get bored and run back and do them all, but why? Shit sounds boring.

Now my question is this: do I respec to holy so that I can more effectively heal dungeons? I heal them pretty well now, but my mana isn't as good as it could be. I would be more efficient with it. But if I respec, I feel as though quests will be too hard for me to do, so I'd just go through dungeons. Miss all those quests. Do I want to do that? In fact, I almost sorta do. I can get to 80 quickly. Then, I can make my warrior. Tank dungeons forevers. I want to do that actually. I want to go through the whole old world without actually questing. Sit in cities and random dungeon queue the whole time. Oh man. I kinda want to start this now. He could be an alchemist and enchanter. Ahahaha fantastic. This game is too easy to play now almost. What's his name? Akcowl. YES. So, I think I have to be level 15 to queue for the random dungeon queue. So, level to 15, then go to TB and just sit. How will I make money? Play the AH? or just not? Can I do that? Aksaril is rapidly becoming less and less self sufficient and Akcowl could just be a total money sink. But on purpose. How much money can I make from tanking randoms all the way? I get like 1g then like 85s for every one I do. I may be able to just pay for gear and repairs.

Now I run into the problem of who to play. Do I make Akcowl and level him now? Or do I get Aksaril up to 80 so that I can heal raids? I'm almost inclined to that do. Respec to holy, heal dungeons till I hit 80, heal heorics till I'm geared for ICC then level Akcowl while not raiding. And if I get bored, I can back to Aksaril and "fill out" his achievements. Am I sad I'll miss all of Northrend? No, I'm not. Questing is boring. Why do I have to? Money? Gear? My gear all becomes irrelevant at 80 when I need to replace everything for raids, so who cares? I can daily for money or farm. And like I said, if I get bored, I can just go back to starting level zones and use low level quest tracker and do those quests. Get some money and rep. If I want. I probably won't want to.

Let's see, Paladin or Warrior? I'm leaning towards warrior. I've had a paladin. I have one. If I want him again, I can just transfer him. I want something different. I've almost thought that playing a good warrior requires skill and finesse and that is something I want to learn. Plus, I've ne'er really had a good warrior and I'd like to learn how to play one. So that I can help other warriors. Or at least know what to expect from them when they're in my group.

What classes have I not played? What Classes are there?
Warrior-I had a level 20 something way back in the day. I want to start another one.
Rouge- played and didn't like. I probably just didn't get it. I remember them as slow and weak. and not as strong as they present themselves when the gank the shit out of me.
Mage- I have a whole blog about how they are not resilient enough for me. They have some phat DPS and I could probably get away with random dungeon queuing one.
Warlock- level 23 on Kul Tiras. Meh. they're fun. but not fun enough to motivate me to try.
Priest- Aksaril. Loving
Paladin- Akoris. Loved.
Shaman- Never done it. Interested though
Death Knight-No. hate them all. everyone who plays one is a wanker.
Druid- have 43. like em, but idk. almost worth transferring Mordenial AKA Tike because he's so old I should just keep him going.
Hunter- na, not now. Pet mechanic is too much

It's Lonely

No one here in Feralas.
On the Zepplin to TB. Which is worthless. It's like a griffen.

Champions of the dungeon
Oh the great Un'Goro!
Your lush valleys and grand old dinosaurs
How I do hope, you're as great as I think
I took a picture of Molten Core. Like a Tourist.

Text Update

I don't really have the internet right now, so I'm going to just talk and not put in pictures. I'm level 50 now. I'm in Tanaris right now, about to pound out all those quests. I finished Hinterlands the night I posted about it, after about an hour. I gained about 2 levels. In an hour. I literally leveled to 48 with just the quest grindings I did, then went back to town and got all the way up to 49. It was ridiculous. Anyway, I plan to do that same thing in Tanaris. I just haven't had time to do that yet. I don't even know when I will have time to do that. Maybe tonight, depending how much work I get done. But the priest is pretty fucking crazy good. Maybe I'm just in a zone that is too low a level, but I pretty much rip all the NPCs. I can do 4 or 5 at a time, and do about 10 or 12 before I HAVE to drink. It's almost too easy. I love it. I'm not sure I want to level up to 80. I'm going to miss the leveling. I like to get to go into the old instances and do them. It's nice. I totally just realized I'm going to be able to do that for BC instances. Stoked.

Now, I think I have to plan out what I want to do when I hit 80. I don't think I want to raid. I almost just want to make another guy. Or I could work at achievements. I could do the quests achievement and the exploration one. But I don't know. I'm still 30 levels out. I think I want to try and do a lot of quests now so that it's not nearly so hard to go back and do all of them. I'll need to do the starting zone's quests. I don't feel like I should waste time doing that.

I don't want to worry about all that. I like my guy now. I want to just work at my professions and levels and being a "complete" character. I should not let not leveling bother me. I should concentrate on having fun. Which I am, having fun that is. Jewelcrafting is making me angry though. It takes so much money and careful shopping to level it up. I think what I really need to do, in terms of being complete, is make sure all of my professions are at 300 when I go to Outland. That is a must. I must have First Aid, Mining, Cooking, Jewelcrafting and Fishing(not as much) at 300, so that I can take advantage of Profession opportunities as I level, which is very useful. It makes it much easier to do, when you do it a little bit at a time. Sorta like homework...

It looks like God's Country.

Starting the Hinterlands at level 47.

Who gives a shit about Faldir's Cove?

I wish I did

Mauradon

So I've been in Mara for longer today than my entire whole other WoW career. I mean, I love random instance finder. This makes playing the low level content, dare I say, fun. Like, being able to choose how to level, be it through PvP, grinding, questing or random instancing. The great part about random instances is that it transports you there, transports you back, give you exp everytime, and a bag of a ridiculously overpowered items. Shit's legit.

I'm level 47. Mana check, 4129.
